- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Very nice place! My cat, Mark, is a cardiac patient with Dr. King. Dr. King and the tech who assists her (can't recall his name) are both very kind and nice. It is a nice facility and I appreciate it being there for us. We have been going VSCD for about 3 years now. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I live in Maryland but came here because gallbladder surgery was 1K less than my state! Dr. Roberts too wonderful care of my dog and also included other things while he was in surgery to save me money down the road. I highly recommend him as a doctor. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was referred to VSCD after my regular veterinarian took x-rays of my dog and noticed something was off. When I arrived, they were already ready with the information from my referring vet and took my dog and I to an exam room. They immediately took my dog back and started him on fluids. VSCD determined that they needed to do immediate exploratory surgery to find out what was going on. Not only were they able to do surgery immediately, they called in a board certified surgeon due to the nature of the surgery. I had asked that they call me post-surgery regardless of what time it was. The surgeon called me at 2am when he finished up. He was able to save my dog's life. Not only that, but while he had him open, he performed a gastroplexy to prevent future issues. The staff was kind enough to let me come visit my dog the next evening, bring him chicken, and hang out in an exam room for as long as I wanted. I can't thank the staff at VSCD enough for saving my dog's life. They acted swiftly, compassionately, and made sure that I was constantly updated throughout the process.
